A HELPFUL STARTING CHECKLIST

Confirm the property type, account requirements and service-area eligibility for your installation address.
The reported AHRI reference must cover the heat-pump outdoor unit, indoor unit and furnace model. Lennox brand alone does not establish eligibility.
Confirm gas licensing, HPCN standing, specific rebate listing and required dual-fuel training before treating the quote as rebate-eligible.
Confirm Okanagan switchover settings and the required commissioning records, equipment photos and installation documentation.
Confirm the exact first eligible installation date, invoice rules, application deadline, income process and any rebate combinations.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED CAREFULLY
We’ll update these answers when the new official program terms are available.
A dual-fuel system combines an electric air-source heat pump with a compatible gas furnace. Integrated controls determine when each heating source operates, and the heat pump also provides cooling.
Do not assume that adding a heat pump to your current furnace will qualify. The reported offer is for a qualifying replacement system. We need the final rules and your exact equipment match before answering for your home.
The contractor summary describes replacement with a qualifying heat-pump and furnace combination. Whether your proposed installation qualifies must be checked against the final equipment and replacement requirements.
Controls switch heating sources according to the system design and settings. The rebate’s required Okanagan temperature settings must be confirmed with FortisBC; we are not publishing a regional numeric threshold yet.
We have not confirmed that combination. Both the applicable Costco promotion and FortisBC’s rules must allow it. No combined value is promised on this page.
The industry summary reports that homeowners apply and contractors provide commissioning information and documentation. Confirm the official application process, installation dates and deadline before proceeding.
Additional support has been reported, but we will publish its amount and thresholds only after official verification. Please do not send income documents through Coral’s general estimate form.
The federal National Heat Pump Rebate is a separate announced program. Its gas and dual-fuel eligibility and any combination with this FortisBC offer remain unresolved. Do not add the advertised amounts together.
