WHAT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED

A little support.
A meaningful possibility.

The Government of Canada has announced rebates for eligible homeowners installing qualifying electric cold-climate air-source heat pumps. The two announced rebate levels are shown below.

OTHER ELIGIBLE HOMEOWNERS

$2,000Announced federal rebate

Support for your next upgrade.

A rebate for homeowners who meet the program’s eligibility requirements.

Home, equipment and installation requirements still need confirmation.

ELIGIBLE BELOW-MEDIAN-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS

Up to$10,000

Additional support may be available.

The announced maximum applies to eligible households below the median income.

The income thresholds, verification process and amount available to each household need confirmation.

These are announced amounts, not a rebate guarantee. Coral does not determine government eligibility. Combining this rebate with B.C. or utility incentives will depend on the rules of each program.

YOUR HOME. YOUR QUESTIONS.

Let’s get the
details right.

Every home starts in a different place. We’re seeking clarity on the details that matter to Okanagan homeowners before recommending a rebate-based installation plan.

You can discuss your heating options with Coral now. A conversation or estimate does not establish rebate eligibility.

A FEW HELPFUL ANSWERS

Before you
plan ahead.

We’ll update these answers as the government releases more information.

Can I apply for the rebate now?

The official program page currently offers an update sign-up. We have not verified an application opening date. Coral’s interest form is separate from a government rebate application.

Is a January 2027 launch confirmed?

No. We are preparing for 2027, but a January opening has not been confirmed in the official information reviewed for this draft.

Can I combine federal and FortisBC rebates?

The federal announcement allows combination with provincial programs in principle. However, each participating program’s rules must allow it. Some current FortisBC programs prohibit stacking. No combined rebate amount is confirmed here.

Do I need an energy audit?

The federal announcement says no pre- or post-installation energy audits are required for this new program. Other incentives may have different requirements.

Should I send income documents to Coral?

No. Please do not send tax returns, income documents or banking information through this interest form. We will explain the official application process once confirmed.

Will Coral deduct the rebate from my invoice?

The announced process describes homeowner reimbursement after purchase and installation. Do not assume the rebate will be deducted from Coral’s invoice. Final payment procedures are still to be verified.

READY TO EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS?

Let’s keep
you in the loop.

Start with your home.
We’ll help with the next steps.

Register your interest in program updates, or ask Coral about a heat-pump estimate. We’ll use your heating details to understand what you’re considering.

HEATING YOUR HOME WITH NATURAL GAS?

A separate dual-fuel
offer is on the horizon.

Coral is also preparing information about a reported upcoming FortisBC rebate for compatible heat-pump and gas-furnace replacement systems. That offer has its own eligibility and timing requirements.

Final FortisBC rules and any combination with this federal rebate still need confirmation. Do not assume the programs can be combined. Contact Coral to discuss a free in-home estimate.
